The Adventure Begins

As I sit here at Gate 121, waiting to board flight LY6 to Tel Aviv, I'm thinking back to my last trip to Israel almost exactly a year ago. The only way I was able to leave the country then, was thinking ahead to how I would be returning in a year, this time for almost exactly five months. I'll be studying at Ben Gurion University in Be'er Sheva taking classes in Israeli history, culture and politics, Violence in Mass Media, and of course Hebrew. I'll use my weekends and holiday breaks to travel through Israel, Europe and the Middle East (well, probably only to see Petra in Jordan). I'll see family, make new friends, and hopefully have the time of my life. The next time I post I'll be in Israel, beginning the adventure of a lifetime. Catch you on the flip side!
